The balck berries of the juniper bush are getting mashed and after completed fermentation burned to this delicate schnapps. The distillate gets storaged for several months in the so-called "Hafele" (Earthenware vessel). Only when the burning master is content with the riping, gets the schnapps brought to the right drinking strength and botteled.
