The story of "Hellyers Road" starts at a little city called Burnie, which is located at the northern coast of the australian federal state tasmania. This city was known as a unspoiled state. Rainforests and rivers weren't destroyed through the hand of manhood.
Above the distillery you can find a street which is called Hellyers Road. The story says that the european person Henry Heller was 1827 on his way to tasmania, when he tried to flatten a road with simplest tools.
As memory of Henry Heller this road got named after him.

The whisky Hellyers Road Original Roaring Forty has its name from the typical tasmanian winds, which are called Roaring Fortys.
